The Edison Academy's JSA chapter just had the first of many successful ChapterCons.

On October 28th, Edison Academy Magnet School students attended the 2023 annual MCAJSA ChapterCon. ChapterCon enabled us to increase our presence in Mid Atlantic State, raise money for freshman outreach, and organize other fundraisers. We are grateful to our school administration and our TA Mr. Price for helping us pull off this successful event. Through ChapterCon, students were able to meet those from other schools and interact in passionate debate, including our mock Republican debate. We would like to congratulate Atri & Advait (tag team), Ramya Paluri and Alonzo Hernandez for gaveling.
Brian Wilk’s Statement:
I was thrilled to help organize and pull off our first ChapterCon. It was a great experience that introduced many of the underclassmen to JSA, and I believe it was a highly successful event with approximately 100 students in attendance. I am very proud of what we accomplished with ChapterCon, and the feedback I received from other schools was extremely positive. It was a great opportunity to showcase the best that JSA has to offer, and it was a lot of fun to see so many students get involved and excited about our club. I am confident that ChapterCon will become an annual event, and I am excited to see it continue in the years to come.
